TEREA sticks are made only for IQOS ILUMA and contain the highest quality tobacco. There's a metal element inside them, which heats the tobacco through induction.


2. Holder

The IQOS ILUMA Holder is part of our SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ which is bladeless. Because the tobacco isn't pierced, the device stays clean.


3. TEREA Pocket Charger

The IQOS ILUMA Pocket Charger has a familiar, ergonomic design. It will power the Holder 20 times, subject to battery degradation and use over time.

Unlike IQOS ILUMA ONE, IQOS ILUMA™ consists of two parts: the Pocket Charger and the Holder. This system allows you to use your holder twice in a row without charging. In addition, IQOS ILUMA™ utilizes our intelligent auto start/stop function. By inserting the TEREA stick, the device starts heating automatically, when removing the stick, the device switches off (again, automatically).

IQOS ILUMA™ devices are designed to be used only with TEREA sticks™.

There is no heating element to heat your HEETS™ stick with IQOS ILUMA™. An IQOS ILUMA™ device can only be activated by a TEREA tobacco stick so it will not start if anything other than a TEREA stick is inserted. With the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology, there is no blade in the Holder but instead a metal heating element is placed inside the TEREA stick.

Your experience with IQOS ILUMA™ with TEREA sticks™ lasts up to 6 mins or 14 puffs, whichever comes first. While the device offers up to 20 uses per full charge, fewer uses are not unusual and do not necessarily mean the device is faulty in any way.
